Sanjiva,
Development has started on the WSDL 2.0 validating parser. As detailed in the proposal, this parser will support both DOM and StAX which will allow both Axis and the Eclipse Web Tools Platform project to use the parser. As it's been explained to me, the Woden model will be wrapped in the Axis WOM for use in Axis.
WRT the incoming code, are you referring to WSDL4J? If so, again as was detailed in the proposal, WSDL 1.1 processing is a longer term goal of the Woden project. The initial goal is to create a WSDL 2.0 validating parser.

Guys, what's going on with this project? Incubatees are supposed to have
some incoming code .. what's the status of that?
I'd like to understand the plan for merging this with the work being
done in Axis2 on modeling WSDL 2.0.
Sanjiva.
