Dan Harvey commented on WODEN-166:
----------------------------------
I've just tested to see what happens if you try to commit Unix style files
using subversion from inside window after applying this property and it only
finds the changes that have been made as opposed to all the lines being
different.
So there should be no issues Updating after this property setting has been
committed or having different style files from your "native" style and then
committing them.
> Use svn:eol-style=native

> The default SVN client config is to have auto-props turned off and
> svn:eol-style is not set by default. For .java .xml .wsdl and other text
> files it is preferrable to have svn:eol-style set to native so that checking
> in text files on windows or linux doesn't cause a change in the
> representation of the 'newline' e.g. LF, CRLF (and CR I think for Mac). We
> should change the svn:eol-style property on text files to prevent LF/CRLF
> whitespace issues.
> See this thread:

> PROTECTED]
> We should also encourage developers to use auto-props in the SVN client
> config file.
