It is not a sensible idea to provide offlist support for Wookie. It's not sustainable (unless someones paying for it of course) and limits the amount of help available to the user.
It's especially not a good idea to cc this list on such support exchanges. Firstly we only see one part of the conversation since emails from non-subscribers are bounced. Secondly portions of a private conversation are being cc'd to a public list. I have a standard text which I send to people asking for support from me as an individual. It basically says mail your query to the public list where I and others can address it and others with the similar issues can learn from the answers. I strongly suggest that people do the same here, we need to build a self sustaining community which means everyone helping one another, not one or two individuals carrying the whole burden. In my experience people not willing to post to a public list are not likely to become a contributor anyway so nothing is lost from this action. Sent from my mobile device.
