Currently the widget will not work when embedded in a real page due to SOP
(even if Wookie is on the same sever, it's on a different port). Need to
implement a workaround to allow Widget-Page communication. Presumably this
would need to be built into each connector plugin, and could be made available
to the widget as a feature?
