Dear Eric,

This is a good time to begin your studies. You can learn a lot about
people when they are down and out. How they react to a crisis is the
measure of a person's depth of commitment to their values.

Please feel free to ask any questions that come to you, and we will do
our best to try to interpret things for you. I feel (although I do
not know for sure) that my answers will be much closer to the thinking
of the current administration than the message boards you have been
reading. We are a divided country right now but those looking to
bring the country together and turn over a new leaf are in power right
now.

The supporters of the out-going administration (which number about 27%
-- although I do not know if that 27% represents voters or both voters
and non-voters) still support the belligerent administration that is
in its waning days.

The rest of us are looking for solutions, and peace. Please let me
know if I can be of assistance. (The best "news" sources in my
country is Bloomberg and specialized blogs. Most MSM -- mainstream
media -- are just looking for ways to survive, so they will say
anything that keeps them selling newspapers.)

Thank you for your interest. I am glad you are here ((((Eric)))) -- I
want to learn more about China.

Justice
