My comment: I think that it is always good news when politicians make
normal what is normal in streets. Therefore I applaud new Japanese PM
Mr. Hatoyama. Japan, Korea and China are since many years ago a
community. I mean regular people in Seoul, in Tokyo and in Beijing,
feel closer to neighbours in these countries than to anyone else. Not
just because culture, travel, studies, etc. but also for trade if we
size trade in percentage of GDP. In terms of economic structure, those
areas have much more in common that it looks like when watching from
aboad. However economy policies differ completely from one country to
any other among the three ones. I am sure they will find a way to
deepen that community while respecting domestic "procedures".

Through ASEAN+3 meetings (ASEAN+Japan+Korea+China) politicians and
beaurocrats have achieved experience and trust to deal with
politicians and beaurocrats from the other two countries. Also
bilateral meetings have played that role in recent years.

It is to be a long way. I guess it will take some decades to make it
as deep as the Eurozone (cited as its role model). But to point at the
goal is required to achive it.

Follows a link from the DPJ official site (new ruling party in Japan)
and its answer from Peoples daily (official media from the ruling
Communist Party in China). Both in English.

Peace and best wishes.
