I was able to run ./configure without trouble but clanlib was not installed,
and as result the compilation failed.
Since clanlib is a requirement, configure should not continue and generate
makefile when missing.

Here's a patch that adds errors when libxml++ or ClanLib are absent. (This
causes the ./configure to exit.)
