Follow-up Comment #4, bug #10250 (project wormux):
I don't know... Personally, open maps have a feeling of infinity that is
disturbing, because I prefer imagining the ground to continue rather than
something floating in an ocean of nothingness. So I sometimes prefer closed
map, for instance the older version of banquise.
But then again, that's just me, and it's not worth the trouble to get around
the bug.
