""Pidgin" is the software that is used for instant messages on a lot of free
software operating systems. Well, introduced in Worms Armageddon was a
weapon called "Pidgin." The team could recreate the weapon using graphics
that looked like the purple pidgin from the instant messenger client as to
stay with the free software theme. In Worms Armageddon, once the weapon was
selected the player places a target on where the player wants the weapon to
go. The worm holds a canon, and at one touch of the fire button a Pidgin
flies out toward the target. The weapon was very similar to the Homing
Missal that has already been created in Wormux. However, the Pidgin was far
more accurate than the homing missal, and usually far more rare to pick up.
It would navigate around terrain to get to its foe. While Wormux already has
most of the existing parts for this weapon too; I do not know how hard it
would be to program AI for actually tracing around terrain without
accidentally hitting it."

We can imagine it as a carrier-pigeon carrying a dynamite instead of a simple
piece of paper :)
