Your motto "code is poetry" says it all. Your material is not
accessible to people like me.
I second this motion about accessibility!
My proposal for the new "Installing WordPress" document.
Step 1: Browse to upgrade.wordpress.org, and click on the "Please
Upgrade my
blog to WordPress Version 2.1.2" button.
Step 2: After the upgrade is completed, click on the link, "Your
upgrade to
WordPress Version 2.1.2 is complete. Have fun with WordPress!",
to return
to blogging.
+1
On a more serious note.
The only way we can really please these people is to build
"automatic" upgrade into the core. Which is likely to be a nightmare
especially from a security point of view.
Documentation will never make them happy.
