Thanks Doug. Yes - select in Firefox and links work. Not that
intuitive though is it?
So - as I don't use Firefox is it possible to dump this and have
QuickTags back?

So no, it's not odd that you're not seeing the interface in those
browsers.
Also, in order to create a link, you have to first select some text to
link. Did you do that?
