Hi,
if i edit a page via
/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=<page_id>
it turns my page into a post! Since there are quite some themes with
administration options (like 'Edit this') i would suggest, that either
the type of the post/page is detected on edit or it's not allowed to
edit pages in post.php (or posts in page.php).
I would prefer the first solution!
