I downloaded the new version of http.php, and it fixed the error for me on that install.

I was able to replicate the same error on two other 2.7-final installs, as well as a 2.8-bleeding edge install.

I did an automatic upgrade on the 2.8-bleeding edge install, and now page 2 just returns the "An unknown error occured" message. Has this been fixed in the trunk as well?

ps/ The word "occured" is mis-spelled - should be "occurred". You might want to mention that to someone so they can fix it. ;)

Uhhh.... Thats already handled properly..

Ok, It must be an error related to the Chunked decoding thats been fixed on
trunk and for 2.7.1

You can try installing the latest /wp-includes/http.php and see if that
fixes it for you:
http://trac.wordpress.org/browser/branches/2.7/wp-includes/http.php that'll
confirm if its the same bug i'm thinking of.

That'll be the plugin API function not expecting a HTTP error.. I'll create
a ticket..

However, Attempting to load the 2nd page again should work.. Its not
cached.. and the 2nd page works for me, so its not an API issue..

I was browsing the newest plugins list, and clicked on the link at the
bottom for page 2, and am being presented with the following error:

----------------------------

*Warning*: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in
*/home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php* on
line *45*

An unknown error occured

----------------------------

I can click the link for page 3, and the page displays fine, but I am
unable to view page 2 - get the above error every time.

This install is using 2.7 final.

Anyone else seeing this?

Kim
