There was a patch to allow for multiple profiles. This permitted an enhanced schema for host tags, but also accepted the current one for backwards compatibility. I'm wondering if this can get wrapped up into the major overhaul going on now. The functionality increase (profile per user, with multiple users being tagged to one host, plus the basic apps) more than justifies inclusion to me, and with no conflict between new and old syntax, it does not require any rework of configuration to support.
If this patch is needed, just let me know. It should be on bugzilla, but I still have it if not.
