I pretty much like this idea as well and it could satisfy all needs. It is allowing anybody to "refer" to a group of commands without having to duplicate them. In addition it does not break anything existing since the inherit attribute is new and if no upgrade command is specified WPKG would still do what is expected: Nothing. I think I am going to implement it. Would you mind adding it to Bugzilla as an enhancement request so it's not "lost on the list"? I could do it myself but I prefer the "sponsor" of the idea to do it.
