I think the user directory is created at the time you create the user object and it cannot be changed unless you delete and recreate the user but you can have them all login to the root directory rather than their home directory by going into the ftp manager and clicking on the main 'user' group icon, there is a button in the middle that says 'logon users to /' click this rather than the one that says 'Logon users to home folders' and you will find they all default to the root directory once they login.

I just installed the wsftp sever.  I'm using it to allow people to log in and edit their web sites.  I don't want to create user directories, I just want people to be able to edit files from the root directory.  I'm setting the users up as host administrators so they can access the files in the root directory, but when they login it creates a user directory for them.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to set something like this up?
