I am attempting to automate a file transfer utilizing a shortcut to WS_FTP with the following command line instructions. The filename of the source changes daily so I need to incorporate wildcards, which appear to be supported according to the WS_FTP documentation. The transfer works fine when I key in the full filename (example #1) but the use of the wildcard (example #2) yields an error message.
example #1 "C:\Program Files\WS_FTP Pro\ftp95pro.exe" -i original.ini -p esmvs -s local:a:\test.dat -d esmvs:'GTKI.HFT.SP.KIMMIT1.MFG' example #2 "C:\Program Files\WS_FTP Pro\ftp95pro.exe" -i original.ini -p esmvs -s local:a:\*.dat -d esmvs:'GTKI.HFT.SP.KIMMIT1.MFG' <<...OLE_Obj...>> Any input you may have is greatly appreciated.
