Has anyone tried Windows 2000 Encrypting File System (EFS) with WS_FTP
Server? We have a requirement to provide encryption of data while it resides
on the server.

Conceptually it should work. According to the Windows 2000 Security Little
Black Book, EFS generates a public key pair for file encryption
automatically for a user if one doesn't exist. If the file is written under
the security context of the WS_FTP Server service account, and the top level
folder is marked for encryption, then the file should be encrypted on put,
and decrypted on get.

Thanks
