I have abandoned WS_FTP in favor of an ssh based client (evaluating two
candiidates at teh moment) because most of my file transfer is between a
WinXP client and a Linux host for web maintenance. I chose the OpenSSH
sshd server over an implementation of SSL under Linux. Secure FTP is a
high priority for me.
That's my situation and my choices. It occurred to me that this might be a
topic that would generate a discussion useful to the subscribers of this list.
