We are thinking of the doing the same because we can not get the SSL to work on NT. The support people at Ipswitch says to change some of our firewall commands and SSL will work. Well great! That does work, but it prevents all other traffic to flow between that firewall. It's very concerning to me that the reason we brought this product is to encrypt our data coming over the Internet.
That's my two cents. I chose the OpenSSH sshd server over an implementation of SSL under Linux. Secure FTP is a high priority for me. That's my situation and my choices. It occurred to me that this might be a topic that would generate a discussion useful to the subscribers of this list.
