One thing you would want to look at is in the profile
properties.

Make sure that the host type you are connecting to is
what is selected as the host type in the profile
properties.

If it is not the correct host type, the information
being displayed back to the program from the server
could be wrong.  

In General, Remote dates are controled by the remote
host that you are connecting to, and if it is not
being shown correctly by an FTP program (WS_FTP) in
this case, it is because the information being sent to
the application from the server is wrong, or the
properties for communicating with that server type are
not set properly.
