Tom,

I'm not sure how simple of a script you need.  (You should choose probably ftp in passive mode.)

log c:\abc.txt                             will create a log of your efforts

CONNECT MySites!ServerB        if you set up your login & password in the ws_ftp program as part as one of "MySites", this will log you in

cd images                                 change to a sub-directory on serverB

mput c:\test\*.jpg                       ftp all .jpg files from the sending pc at the c:\test directory to serverB\images

close                                        end script

I hope this will help you get started.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Scripting Questions

Greetings all...

I'm (brand) new to this list - and I'm sure it's been covered before - but I can't get to any of the archives as I get a 404 error...

I am behind a firewall and need to send a specific group of files to another server.

I have a proxy id and password, as well as a user id and password on the FTP server I'm connecting to.

How do I generate a script to do the transfer?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Tom
