Is that the right name for the ftp server? The IP address it resolves to is not a valid IP address (255.255.255.255). I have 3 websites, 1 with my broadband ISP and 2 separate ones (with another ISP) that I have to dial in with.  In the past I have uploaded and updated these 2 sites with no bother using the saved settings.  I haven't done it for a few months but now when I try, I get     "finding host ftp.myweb.tiscali.co.uk                                                                                        connecting to 255.255.255.255:21                                                                                        Connect failure I have no problems connecting to my broadband site.  Is there any setting I should change?  I have a ZoneAlarm firewall and my ISP is in the trusted zone.   Margaret
