I've already tried with the firewall disabled
The last time I accessed the site to upload was June and I have upgraded the firewall since then.  I have checked all the settings and I can't see where there is a conflict.

Don't think this is a DNS problem.  You cannot FTP to the ip address, but TRACERT and PING get through.  Everything points to a problem with the firewall.  I have had problems similar to this before and it has always been caused by the firewall.

I think this is your problem right here: The server name or address could not be resolved

It sounds like you are having a DNS problem, and the name is not being resolved to the proper IP address.

You can try clearing your DNS cache (reboot or run the command ipconfig /flushdns). You may have a negative cache stuck in there.

The name should resolve to the IP address of: 212.74.114.60
