When I try to connect from the iSeries box, it times out with the following message:
'SSL received a badly formatted message'
On the ws_ftp server, the log shows:

0108 12:58:05 (00000720) 10.140.91.33 timed out
0108 12:58:05 (00000720) 10.140.91.33 connection closed
We also see the following sometimes in the log:
