That's the result of the data connection timing out before all the data is received.  
Probably a symptom of your overall connectivity problem...  you might want to contact 
ipSwitch Tech Support for assistance.

too much...so I don't want to put a second NIC in my machine just for the FTP server.

Another question though.  What causes the "WSAETIMEDOUT" error to come up.  I was 
trying to download a file from my ftp client at work to my WS_FTP server at home, but 
it would keep hanging up every few minutes (for a minute or 2 at a time).  Here is the 
sample log from the client connection:
