My experience is that if the transfer did not complete, transfer manager
will keep that transfer in it's list and attempt to repeat it when ws_ftp is
restarted. This functionality is optional and can be changed in
'Options/Program Options/Transfers/Automatically resume transfers when
application starts'. If it happens, you can select the topmost element of
the transfer, stop it and delete it. Also, if you attempt to manually start
a transfer that is already in the transfer manager's list, it will not add
it a second time but attempt to continue with the first instance of that
transfer.

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Reloading, not updating

Gents and ladies,

I have a rather large web site (46M) that I used to maintain on a Unix
box that now resides on a friend's site and which I have tried to start
maintaining with WS_Ftp.

I am trying to upload it to my laptop for maintenance. I downloaded the
entire thing several days ago. However, today, for reasons unknown, ws_ftp
fired up and started downloading the entire thing all over again, when I
had made no changes to the site, let alone at the remote computer. I
don't understand why it chose to do this, rather than to compare the
file dates (and realize that they were identical).

Am I missing something? I looked at the setup, and it does state that
for identical files there should be no action.
