Hello Nikhil,

Thanks for the information.

After looking into this further, it appears that the MPUT return code is a
defect. Once validated, we'll enter into our defect tracking system to be
fixed in a future release.

We're also researching the return codes for the CLI and the scripting and
will get back to you, probably this week.

Bye for now,

kg

Thanks kg. The return codes for the vanilla command line don't appear
to correlate to executing the script utility. I guess I will have to
limit my code to only accepting RC of 0. I was getting a RC of 1 on a
MPUT with no files matching. So I have to check the directory before
executing it that's all.

Hello All,

You can also find Return Codes for Command Line interactions here. It
contains a Summary of Arguments and Return Codes on pages 42-43.

This is a different thing and I think I know the answer. IPSwitch wants
you to buy the developer kit where you get nice things like hooks into
the API.

If you are in charge of an ftp server, you could just could connect in
via
your FTPSCRPT client, then exit, and then view the server logs. I hope
this
helps.

Does anyone know where I can get a comprehensive list of exit codes
given by
WS_FTP when executing FTPSCRPT via the command line? I see it gives
zero
upon success but it also seems to give 1 when using a MPUT with a
pattern
and no file matches the pattern. Any help appreciated.
