Thanks Kevin, I have not tested an empty MGET * but when I do I will find out if I have to do anything special there as well.

After looking into this further, it appears that the MPUT return code is a defect. Once validated, we'll enter into our defect tracking system to be fixed in a future release. We're also researching the return codes for the CLI and the scripting and will get back to you, probably this week. Bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Bharucha, Nikhil Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 3:30 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WS_FTP Forum] WS_FTP Pro 9.0 Command Line Exit Codes Thanks kg. The return codes for the vanilla command line don't appear to correlate to executing the script utility. I guess I will have to limit my code to only accepting RC of 0. I was getting a RC of 1 on a MPUT with no files matching. So I have to check the directory before executing it that's all. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kevin Gillis Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 1:34 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WS_FTP Forum] WS_FTP Pro 9.0 Command Line Exit Codes Hello All, You can also find Return Codes for Command Line interactions here. It contains a Summary of Arguments and Return Codes on pages 42-43. http://www.ipswitch.com/Support/WS_FTP/guide/wsftp9/WS_FTP_tools_v9.pdf bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Bharucha, Nikhil Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 9:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WS_FTP Forum] WS_FTP Pro 9.0 Command Line Exit Codes This is a different thing and I think I know the answer. IPSwitch wants you to buy the developer kit where you get nice things like hooks into the API. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David Knapp Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2004 11:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WS_FTP Forum] WS_FTP Pro 9.0 Command Line Exit Codes If you are in charge of an ftp server, you could just could connect in via your FTPSCRPT client, then exit, and then view the server logs. I hope this helps. I see it gives zero upon success but it also seems to give 1 when using a MPUT with a pattern and no file matches the pattern. Any help appreciated. Nick B.
