I am wondering if anyone else is having an issue similar to what I am experiencing.
I have WS-FTP Pro 2005 (I think) installed on my laptop running Windows XP Pro. When my laptop is docked at the office, I have a secondary 21" monitor that I extend my Windows Desktop to. Lately, I have been running WS-FTP on the secondary 21" monitor while at the office. Tonight I have been trying to use WS-FTP at home, undocked, without a secondary monitor. WS-FTP is the only application that is launching onto the secondary monitor that is currently non-existent. The WS-FTP Pro icon appears in the task bar, and when right clicking and selecting minimize, I see a window minimizing, and it comes from the right edge of the laptops screen. I seem to recall that while at work, WS-FTP launches into the monitor that it was last launched from. This is extremely frustrating, as I cannot get WS-FTP to launch on the primary screen which is currently the only screen. When I look at the Properties of the display, the secondary monitor is disabled and cannot be selected. I am also wondering if there is any way to break the affinity to the last monitor. Any one else having this issue? Any suggestions?
