Hi Jay:

Thanks, that worked.  It took quite a few left arrows before it
actually started to appear on the right side of my screen.

I guess I have been lucky not experiencing this issue in the two years
I have been using a secondary monitor.  I hope it is something Microsoft
will eventually fix.

Randy,

This is a generic issue with Windows extended desktop. Here's how 
to get around the problem.

After clicking on the icon in the task bar, Alt-spacebar (or 
shift+alt+spacebar) is same as clicking the icon in the upper left 
corner of the window. Then press M for move and move the window with 
the arrow keys, or hold down the left mouse button and move the 
window with the mouse. This can bring something back that is on 
another screen in extended desktop, with the other screen missing.

Try it first on a window that you can see, then do it on the one 
you can't see.
