Have tried putting the WS_FTP server in the exclusions list in the firewall?

Thanks, we've done that. It seems to be something about the Windows 2003
firewall and it's interaction with ws_ftp server. In googling the issue
several other people seem to be having the same issue with ws_ftp server.
Their solutions usually revolve around turning PASV mode off on the
clients.
This is not a very practical solution and we're hoping some has found a
solution for this particular bug.

See this KB to learn more about Passive mode:
http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WS-20001020-DM01.htm
You need to open the ports that will be used by passive ftp,
through your firewall. And you probably want to set WS_FTP server
to use a limited set of ports (Select the domain name and click
the Firewall Options, enter the Port Range you want to use).

There appears to be an issue with wsftp server accepting PASV
mode and
windows 2003 firewall. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is
there a
solution?
Thanks in Advance,
John
