There is a fix for this in the knowledge base at ipswitch.com. just go there and type "never" and you will get the instructions on how to fix it. Its simple, but I cannot remember exactly what you need to do.

Recently when I open the program I see a warning message with an exclamation mark and "Never". An "OK" button produces another similar error message but the "OK" button produces the WS_FTP screen and the opening audio music but the splash screen stays and the machine cannot be used. I can reboot and use the rest of my programs. If I attempt to use WS_FTP the same problem arises. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have used Safe Mode to uninstall and reinstall.
