>From the horses mouth: "Values of the title attribute may be rendered by user agents in a variety of ways." http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/struct/global.html#adef-title Also, Opera 7 displays the title content in the status bar (if you have it visible) & in a tooltip, which (IMHO) is kinda annoying for links with title attributes as you have no way of knowing the URL for the link.
