But the title attribute isn't intended for people with peripheral vision. Safari's behaviour is correct but I think convention now renders it "incorrect". Personally, I don't like messages popping up everywhere when I move my mouse around - if it's so important it should be obvious anyway IMHO, and 99% of the messages I get are pointless. I use the title attribute to improve accessibility. But I think the argument's lost on this one ;-)
