This is also where I found it. I couldn't get it to work in IE/WinXP either, so I've been using it in Firefox.


I also went ahead and looked at Jesse's bookmarklets (http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/), which I knew of, but never had a change to try. As indicated on the summary page, only some work for IE. Since these are mostly development tools/aides, I don't think it's unreasonable for them to on occasion only work in one browser. I haven't had any problems with them in FF.

I still haven't found anything that will give me the ancestors or computed styles when I put my cursor /in the markup/ (these bookmarklets work when you hover the cursor over elements on the page). But they are sufficient for my purposes.
