I already retracted the blog comment as ignorant stereotyping on my part. I have seen too many h1 used on blog though. Thanks for those links. They show that there is a valid alternative to this issue.
Although I didn't find Tantek's site design very aesthetically pleasing, his all list design did inspired Pat Collins to show us how function and style can go together with lists replacing divs. Thans again for the links. I really learned something today.
