Actually, Safari is quite stable.
I'd suggest you look at the rest of your system? Not trying to be rude, 
but crashing isnt one of the problems generally reported with Safari.

My main complaint with Safari is there does seem to be a small memory 
leak somewhere, bad under Jaguar, less so under Panther, as it does 
tend to lock up somewhat after a couple of days use, and a restart 
fixes it :)
