Yes, it's not as if there is a problem and a solution per se.  And for
various sites, they need a unique approach, but when I look at the style
sheets of some of the applications that are OSS CMSs and the like, for all
the architecture and design that has gone into it, I often feel that there
is quite an oversight or neglect to try and address this issue, because with
such applications you must know that the ease of customising the look and
feel for various designs is going to be very important as to the success and
adoption of their use.

The design of many of the CMSs used by many of use have very common
components, it often seems to me that the CSS and HTML structure is not as
mature as it should be.

But maybe others don't see the need for this, or are so comfortable with
various CSS, etc, there is no perceived problem.  Maybe if others don't see
it as something lacking, it probably isn't an issue.
