Close the paragraph before you open the div and start a new paragraph after the div. Putting the image with alt and caption inline (with span as suggested by Gary) may work, but you may get some strange effects in non graphical browsers (search engines, assistive technology): ...convallis ornare, tortor A picture . . . nibh ultricies ante...
