hmm.  well, depends greatly on my client.  my definitions from thier
standpoint (for a majority of my clients)

code - something I know is there, that makes things work, that I don't
understand and am paying you to deal with

markup - What, you mean like price markup or what?

Food for thought - mileage may vary - just my experience.
