Ted,

Thanks so much for the recommendation on the book. This is the kind of 
information I was really
hoping to obtain from this list. Being a developer and not a designer I'm 
trying to develop some
form of eye for style not to mention layout, type, color etc.

I'll add your book recommendation to my list.
