Hi Maxine Well, the Safari engine uses the KDE khtml engine. I find testing in Konquerer pretty much mirrors what I have seen in Safari. The easiest and cheapest way to test this would be to find an old Pentium 3 somewhere, install a Linux distro like Suse or Fedora with the KDE desktop environment.
Once you get the box up and running, you can test layouts on "Safari" without investing in a Mac. Also useful if you have a Mac and can't backport it to older versions of Safari for testing due to the auto update feature Here are some links: http://developer.apple.com/darwin/projects/webcore/ http://konqueror.kde.org/features/browser.php http://www.google.com/search?q=safari+khtml+kde http://kde.org HTH James ============================================================== > On Mar 31, 2005, at 10:16 PM, Maxine Sherrin wrote: > > > I wonder if someone could confirm something for me.
