I think this speaks to both sides of the fence (which is currently in flames). Yes, many sites may have text that is too small, but as long as it can be <em>scaled</em>......

I guess where I am going with this is that, IMO, no one here is wrong. The _vast_ majority of users are going to see the site as intended, and those who are not happy with the text size have the ability to change it to suit them. If a user needs larger type due to low vision, etc., they already know how to fix it.
