I'm looking on a Mac in Firefox. It all seems to hold together fine. My comments are more on the design/layout side. The 'banner' area - to my mind it takes up way too much real estate. It's pretty much half the screen. And there's too much white space on the right side too I think.
Another thing - to me the footer looks as though it's lost its code because it's the same fontsize etc as the rest of the content. I would make it a bit smaller, to differentiate it a bit more from the content.
