I wanted to get some feedback before writing something about this solution
as I'm not sure what would be the best way to use it.
It is in fact the iframe that does all the work, I'm using its URI to
hold/keep track of the values.
I started with a regular frameset hoping that it would be possible to
bookmark the "state" in IE (as this browser can bookmark frameset state),
but when I saw that it didn't work I dropped the frameset for an iFrame.
