No, you said, ".. so just making it valid or logical may not be my prime concern." The point is, and the reason Philippe pointed out that your code wasn't valid, is that it's impossible (well, bloody difficult) to debug invalid code.
Time and time again, on this list, we see requests for 'problems' regarding invalid code. Validating your code is not only sound practice; it's the first step - every time - in debugging.
