Joe, Bill, John, et al, Joe, that is it! I did modify Modulator.cpp but forgot to also change soundout.cpp. With ChannelCount = 1, audio works on Linux. This mod also solved the problem of changing the audio device in the config window.
I left wsjtx running and it eventually died with a segmentation fault. I need to run it through gdb to see if I can detect where the issue occurred. Bill and John, can you please commit your code changes to SVN?
