As it happens, when you sent this I was hacking at the WF palette code
with the intention of adding a "User" palette designer to the WF window.
This would use the QtColorDialog to pick colors for the power intervals.
I was doing this because I am awre that I have removed the ability of
users adding a palette file themselves and I feel that this would be
more user friendly.

I was thinking of an "Export" button for it too, so we could use it to
design new palettes and users could use it to submit theirs.

Is this what you meant by "Colors" and "Appearance" or did your thoughts
extend further to other parts of the GUI?

I would not jump too fast on this one. I know for sure that more testing
is needed with more rigs as far as CAT control is concerned. As for
version numbers, the visible functionality changes are relatively small
and I would think 1.4 is sufficient.

The current JT9W width control goes very wide, is *128 really practical?
