I'm still looking into this one. At the moment, Docs does not require
installation to the system, but now with the man page requirement, I
need to look and see what a2x depends on to build just man pages as I've
not used it in a long time.

Cmake doesn't much care that your Linux is Fedora, and the other guys

The Package Matrix in the SVN dev-guide is pretty accurate. You could
check out docs, build devg and go at it that way if you like.
I'm sorry I don't have the FD-20 list handy, but I will in a few days.
